OUR STORY
4 Stray Paws Rescue started as Joliet Community Strays in August of 2022. We serve as a beacon of hope for the stray cats and dogs in our community. Along with a dedicated team of volunteers, we work tirelessly to provide shelter, food, and medical attention for animals in need. Our team has over 10+ years of experience with rescue organizations and because of their help, countless cats and dogs have found loving, forever homes and were given a second chance at life.
Mission Statement
Our mission as a rescue is to assist feral community cats and abandoned stray dogs get the medical care they need and deserve: the cats and dogs that have no one else to ensure they are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and treated for illness and injuries they endure while being outside. Our goal is to help slow down the overpopulation of feral cats so there are not so many born outside and to find loving homes for those who are friendly.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to work with our community through education, outreach, and fundraising to strive toward the goal of controlling the overpopulation of stray and feral cats. With support from our volunteers and local families, we can reduce the number of homeless cats and dogs while improving their quality of life with proper medical treatment.
